Laura Chovancova

Laura joined Barger Prekop in 2024 as an associate. She has over 5 years of legal experience working at international and local law firms. Laura focuses her practice on general corporate and commercial matters, M&A, real estate and labor law in both domestic and international contexts. She worked on several acquisitions, mergers, and other transactions mainly with foreign clients operating in Slovakia.

Laura received her law degree from Pan-European University in 2021. She is currently finishing a graduation qualification Master of Laws (LLM) in Cambridge Business School in Prague. She is fluent in English and is a native Slovak speaker.

Prior to joining Barger Prekop, Laura worked for a leading Slovak law firms as well as for a global international law firm.
